He was over weight and I got him on a treadmill now he wont get off the treadmill all he wants to do is work out he keeps me awake at night as he keeps going and going on the treadmill in the guest Bedroom how do I get him to chill out

Have you had the vet check her out? She is not too old but you never know when this could be a health problem. I would get that ruled out first. Maybe consider putting her in a dry lot with good grass hay, salt block, water for part of the day if the grasses are rich. Some are just easy keepers. Another thing to consider would be a muzzle to limit the amount of grass she can eat but still be loose in the pasture. If she is healthy, you have to exercise more and decrease amount of feed if possible.

Aside from the tread mill, donkeys, like horses need their teeth floated & to be wormed regularly. Ask your vet for serious advice.

I wouldn't mention the treadmill in the bedroom...

Remove the carrot from the front of the treadmill.

Get him a job in "show business" in Tijuana and he'll gain it back....and you'll notice he'll strat smiling more too.
