i wear the stuff that u turn the top and it automatically sharpens or w/e nd it works good fer me. if ur putting it under ur eyes instead of like on ur bottom eye lid then its prolly gonna smear easier. i read somewhere that putting a lite layer of eyeshadow below or over the eyeliner helps to keep it from smudging. also my best friend showed me this trick that helps... she puts a little bit of lotion on a q-tip nd then wipe away the eyeliner that smudged. it works real good just make sure u dont get the lotion in ur eye lol

I purposely blend (smear) my eyeliner a little, just so you don't get a really harsh look. I use pen liner, I think from maybelline, and I don't have problems. If you want a perfect line, you can't use anything other than liquid, as the others will fade and smear throughout the day. Good luck!

While I may not be the normal person to answer a question like this (being male), I do use eyeliner in my work (clown) it does sound like you are using too much, but all I use is a pencil. Give it a try, I've never had it smear or smudge and believe me it would be much more noticeable if it did on a white face :o)

do not apply any cream near the eyes, apply plenty of powder that will make it stay in place, I can not use the regular liquid eye liner, I recently bought one made by Revlon, it looks like a dry eyeliner, also try to use eye shadow instead of eye liner it looks very nice too, it saves you a lot of time! hope it helps you!

Well, make sure it is not a 'KOHL' pencil because they are made to smear, if you like 'dry' pencils, get Almay's 16 hr pencil--I put the link below
BUT if you want something besides liquid that gives a smokey effect that doesn't fade--try a black eyeshadow--I reccomend MAC's e/s in carbon--so awesome.

After applying your foundation all over (including eyelids) make sure that you set it with powder (translucent etc.). Using a very dense (stiff) short angled eyeshadow brush, dip the end of it into the powder and push the color close to your lashes. You may want to apply extra powder under the eye area so that you can just wipe off any excess powder that my drop off of the brush. Good luck!

try not to touch your eyes during the day, or it WILL smear! i think there are setting powders you can buy that you put on before your eye makeup that make it stay on better... if this doesn't work, you could experiment with different brands. hope this helps!

I have the solution.... I have an oily eye area so I have the same problem as you. I can recommend using a felt tip eyeliner. Magic Stylo is the best I have ever tried.
