There are copyrights to many sheet music in popular songs and comtemporary music categaries. The only kind of music available for free download is classical music.

If you like classical music you can try www.bh2000.net. This site offered over 10,000 pages pf downloadable classical music by Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, and some other classical composers in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format. It really takes a few days to download them depending on how fast is your computer and the type of internet connection you use.
