I have seen a lawyer's ad wanting clients to sue a contact lens company. They say the lenses have caused "scaring" , I am sure they mean "scarring".
Also ads that say If you have" side effects of this drug, or die from taking it, please call our law offices."

I don't inform anyone. But I certainly don't buy that product or service. If they can't spend time to check their own ad, how much time do you think they spend to check their work, or do a good job for you?

To me, it's the same thing with bad service in a store or restaurant. I may not tell the manager, or I might - but if I don't, I certainly won't go back there again.

The TV station, or the ad agency that produced the ad. (Some TV stations produce some ads themselves.)
