my laptop won't let me log on to yahoo or hotmail,but my desk top will???

ok they both use the same internet but it don't work. they are both gatways and about the same age. it use to work but al of a sudden one day it stoped. wtf?

ya it is quite frequent and silly question everyone ask make sure you have not installed any forewall
software iotg blocks them like norton antivirus

check the proxy again, maybe someone played with it, and also check the TCP/IP configuration (IP address, subnet mas, default gateway, DNS), maybe someone played with that too.

reboot your laptop. that seems to fix a lot of small problems. :)
