I'm going to assume you mean:
V = (pi/3) * r^2 * h
In this case, you need to divide both sides by (pi/3):
3V/pi = r^2 * h
And then divide both sides by r^2:
3V / (pi * r^2) = h
And you've solved for h. If, however, you meant:
V = (pi/3) * r^(2h)
It's more complicated. Still, divide both sides by (pi/3)
3V/pi = r^(2h)
And now you need to take the log (base r) of both sides.
log-base-r(3V/pi) = 2h
Now just divide by 2.
[log-base-r(3V/pi)] / 2 = h
And there you have it. Log is an inverse of exponentation, so it's the only thing you can use in a situation like that. I don't know which form of the question you asked, it wasn't very clear... But hopefully this helps. Good luck!

pi=22/7 or 3.14. I'll use 3.14
(3.14 divided by 3)x r to the power of 2 x h
There is a rule for this.
First, eliminate thing in parenthesis.
Then, eliminate the powers.
Next, multiplication and division.
Finally, addition and substraction.
Everything donde from left to right.

Basically, get h on one side, everything else on the other :)
Step 1 : 3V = pi * r^2 * h
Step 2 : ?????
Step 3 : PROFIT.

V = (1/3)pi * r^2 * h
3V = pi * r^2 * h
h = (3V)/(pi * r^2) or 3(V/(pi * r^2))

Rearrange, and you'll see it right away:
V = (pi r^2 h) / 3
Now solve for h.
