I got my power utility deposit check back. I dont have a account and nobody with enough money in their account to cover. Can I cash this kind of check any where? whats my options

thanks everyone for the nice answers. For the jerk talkin about 36 cents my people went through Katrina but just another example of bad things happing to good people and the assholes well their just assholes

Many banks won't cash it when you don't have an account including the bank that wrote the check. Currency exchanges charge high fees. Give a bank a shot and if they charge a fee pay it since it will be much cheaper than a currency exchange or check cashing store

Most banks located in grocery stores will cash checks for a flat fee of $2 or $3.

Yes you can cash it anywhere. Sign the back of the check and cash it at any bank branch
