Okay, for all the stupid people who are a normal weight and are 12 years old and are telling her she needs help:shut up.
I just turned 13 and i weigh 79-80 pounds as well. Yes, I know I'm thin.
But it's perfectly healthy, it just depends on your metabolism. I've been checked by a doctor on this and apparently my metabolism is much faster than average. It doesn't mean I'm eating unhealthily or whatever. Now, if you ARE eating unhealthily or not eating enough, yes, that is bad. If you're acting normal and don't have an eating disorder and eat okay, then don't worry about it. I understand how that is, and I get teased that I'm anorexic and stuff. Don't worry.

Well, it all depends on how tall you are. There are some kids who just eat and eat and still really gain no wieght, but, other then that, they are healthy. If you eat a lot and still considered healthy and weigh what you weigh now, then do not worry about it. Some above me said that they weigh up to 120lbs. There are kids your age that weigh 150-160lbs, they are 12 and, not as tall. So, I would not worry so much. As long as you eat three square meals a day, some snacks, drink some type of water (cranberry juice and orange juice, too) then there is nothing for you to worry about.

no I weighed 60 pounds in sixth grade and wanted to weigh more but as my body changed so did my weight when i hit puberty I started to gain weight. so don't worry because when you get to be a freshman you will want to loose weight. Unless you are naturally blessed with eating whatever you want and not gain weight.

Not really...my best friedn is 13 years old and is 80 pounds, just try to eat healthy and drink milk...milk is good for u to get strong bones yet it has some fat in it lol

It really depends on your height.
If you feel that you're too underweight, mention it when you go to see your doctor. If you are too underweight, he can give you a medication to help you gain to a better weight for you.
Focus more on how healthy you are than your weight. Try to eat a balanced diet and don't avoid any food groups completely.

thats perfectly normal and that is the approaximate weight to weigh at that age! Dont feel that ure fat cuz at ure age thats the weght ure suppose to way so dont let it trouble u to nuch

It really depends on how tall you are, your body type, whether or not you've hit puberty. You're probably just fine, just a little on the small side.
