LOL, when I was a kid we got a pony for Christmas who was a rescue. My dad looked in his mouth to see how old he was, and realized he had, in fact, looked a gift horse in the mouth!

No one has ever given me horse as a gift. I got some trojans as a gift once. I didn't look into their "mouths". But if the original Trojans looked that gift horse in the mouth, they might have been a little better off.

Yes, and I found out it had bad teeth and a stomach ailment. They hadn't given me a gift, they had simply pasted on their grief. I shot the horse and wrote the gift giver off my Christmas list.
