my computer has this problem... all the icons in IE and on my computer are scrambled, its like it's all messed up and you cant relly see the little icons on any program, on IE the standared tool bars are scrambled as well sometimes they go black, im not sure when exactly it did this but i would like to know how to fix it without bringing it into a shop, i have windows ME, i know its buggy but thats what i have and i cant afford to upgrade at the moment, also my programs take so long to upload. can someone please help??

Defrag your drive. You may have too many things trying to load up when your computer boots. Try locking the desk top. you might also try doing a system restore. you might look into adding some more RAM. hope this helps

I'm not sure exactly what your problem is from your description, but just to make sure of some basic things:
1. Check your display settings: right click on desktop-properties-settings-
advanced
2. In the general tab make sure that DPI display setting is set to normal
3. In the monitor tab make sure your refresh rate is compatible with your monitor (try 60Hz)
4. Under the troubleshoot tab you may try setting the hardware acceleration slider to a lower setting to see if that affects the problem. If it does, you may have a video card problem
