That really depends on the guy, and the circumstances. A "hands to the face" kiss is usually a tender kiss, not full of heat and passion but more gentle and nurturing. It's one that guys see in the movies a lot.
Of course, "pressing" kisses (those that are more passionate) usually involve hands to the shoulders, or around the back or back of the head.
