Who knows. Some women have children young, and do a fantastic job at parenting, with or without a partner. Others do a terrible job with or without a partner. They same could be said for older women. You just need to be certain that it's the right time for you and that you are emotionally, physically and finacially secure.

I don't think there is a general best age to have a baby. It depends on when the couple feels ready to have a baby, and can financially support having a baby - not only at the moment, but also in the future : will you be able to save for activities ? college ?

Basically, I would say that before 19, you still have to live your life. After 45, it might be late, knowing that women are at higher risk of having problems after 37-38.

The asker asks what age is the best not what state society would prefer them to be in!

It is reasonable to suppose that immediately after menarche the systems are probably not best matured. This does not mean that pregnancy cannot happen, the youngest mother in Britain so far was just over twelve when she gave birth and there is already one who got pregnant before the age of 11 1/2!

A woman is born with her full complement of eggs. Once they begin to mature it is all downhill as with anything in storage for extended periods.

The best age is probably when the body has effectively achieved its maximum growth, around 15-16. This isn't to say that the individual is emotionally or socially ready, but that wasn't the question.

There's no BEST age to have a baby but I'd recommend before 35. Research shows that ppl who have babies after the age of 35 have a higher risk of birth complications.

There is no "best" age to have a baby. It all depends on the person and when they are ready to handle all the responsibilities of having a baby.

As the father of 3, I'd say 22 to 32 is the best 10-year range. This doesn't account for the economics of it so much, but rather the mom's physical ability to recover, and the energy required to care for a newborn.
