The books rule! The movie sucks! I could almost kick Daniel Radcliffe in the nuts for being such a bad actor.

I read the books first, then I watch the movie after, because the books will give me additional details that will help me understand the movies a little better.

The books are better - the movies left out SO MUCH fun stuff. Including tons of great scenes with Snape! The books are so long it just isn't possible to cram it all into a movie. Each book could easily be 2 movies!

I think reading the books is better. Not only do you read all the details that movies left out, but you get to create it in your mind, and not just see it how the movie producers or directors see it.

I like reading the books better, they go so much more in depth. But I do love to watch the movies over and over!

I love both! I think that the movies are close enough to the books that to watch the movies, then read the books just helps to fill in all of the blanks. Of course, if you read the books first, its cool to see how close your imagination took you to the movie's rendition.

Well I would say reading and watching the movie is good. Just make sure that you read the book before watching that why you know what happens and you can spot the goofs.

Books. So much is left out of the movies. 100 pages equals about 1/2 hour of screen time, so all the dialog, action, and little side story's that make the book so fascinating are left out. That's why Snape had all of 6 lines of dialog in the last movie, and that's only because they couldn't cut him entirely.

I like the books better, maybe because the characters and situations are more vivid in my imagination. Granted, they have done a wonderful job with the movies, staying very true to the books. That doesn't happen very much.
