Some folks are rather pompous, they think that their diatribe is earth-shattering and that everyone will stop in their tracks to read what they have to say. If they can't say it in four sentences or less, then they need to save it for their thesis in grad school. Was that arrogant? Am I ranting? I too get tired of the long answers that take up a lot of space, and aren't any better than the concise ones.
