We all long for immortality whether it is producing a child or a work of art. I am not saying that God doesn't exist but he fills a huge hole that will mean that he will always be with us. Perhaps loving your neighbour and being humble is all that is needed. God said that the meek shall inherit the earth. Perhaps not believing that you are created by a god, believing you are responsible for every action and there is no absolution means that you are the meekest person. The arrogance of religion does make you think that maybe humility and an acceptance of personal responsibility might be the key to being accepted into the next step in life. Deny god, love the people around you and you might just make it.

You mean your insecurity finally got the better of you and you've opted for the easiest possible answer! God and religion are creations of insecure mortals who need answers but aren't willing to look any further than a popular fantasy book, whether it be the bible, koran, etc or the words or similarly minded people. If a psychologist wasn't concerned about what you might do to yourself or others, given the truth, he/she would probably tell you that your irrational reversion to the comfort found in the omnipotent parental image of God was likely triggered by some kind of crisis in your life. Trauma often causes such comfort/protection seeking behaviour. B well.

Stats show born again christians are less educated and come from dysfunctional homes hence trying to create a family or enter one bcs they are lacking a distinct close social network. Born again christian is not about getting closer to god it is about a social network. if you dont adhere to the rules there are consequences to make you feel bad You seek order control and need to be told what to do. If you seek God you must listen he is already talking to you you just cannot hear him
To hear god you need silence NO singing NO CLAPPING No shaking booty Just pure unadulterated silence/ If you take the time to listen you will hear his voice and once you recognize his voice from all the others,,,,,bcs thats the difficult part knowing his voice You already have your concience andyour own voice that talks to you but knowing his needs silence and time with oneself You actually need to do the opposite not surround yourself with a whole bunch of people. Once you hear God you will not need a book written by man to guide you God already has given you the instinct to know deep within yourself what is good and bad right and wrong
If you are in tune with yourself even being around people who are not good to be around you will feel their aura,
So psychology dictates the less educated you are the more you are religious. The less social skills developed through a family the more likely you will be born again. In your new stage of born again christians try not to hang round with the ex pimps prostitutes etc, i never met a born again christian who isnt an ex con

Forget psychology...Read: William Blake, Marcus Aurelius, John Milton, Dante Alighieri and Geoffrey Chaucer for all the greatest hits on men who lost God and then found him again ... or take a theology course.

Born again Christians, born again virgins, born again child, or born again whatever. Commit to something. Yes there is a label for folks like you......FOLLOWERS.....
Why follow the crowd when you can stand up and be your own leader, follow your own path not some path that others lay out for you. Make up your mind and stick with it.
****Now folks give me the thumbsdown rating, I really don't care. I just had enough of the religious insecurities that seem to accompany most christians.

The trouble with born again christians is that they are an even bigger pain in the *** the second time around. Go and read anything by Karen Armstrong.

we are created beings. created by God. He is our Creator and everything boils down to this bottom line. we are made for Him. that's why you're longing for Him. others don't care coz they don;t have the heart that seeks after God.
being a christian means you're all for God now. when you accepted Christ as your Savior, He takes away all your sins to remember it no more. a new life begins and it's a daily walk with Jesus. then, He shows you a better way of living. His will and purposes in your life. God desires you good that He is concerned that we allow Him to work that for us. we should be willing to be under His Lordship. read your Bible and let Him speak to you. and pray, too.
check out Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen and TD Jakes. they have websites you can visit.

Try the 'Popular Science' and 'Religion' sections in your bookstore. You won't answers among actual psychologists, unless they see religion as a mental illness. I wouldn't go that far though, it's more like mass hysteria.
