I think it's hilarious that anyone would actually pay money to present the false image of "yeah, I've had these jeans for years" or "yeah, I'm cool and the rips on my jeans are a testament to my bad-assedness".
It's different when they happen naturally or are the product of your own ingenuity.
But PAYING for them? Too funny for words.

I like jeans that are slightly distressed, maybe a rip here or there. It looks cute. But I hate jeans that are totally shredded. It looks really crappy. And I don't like them on guys.

No, my daughter buys them that way, she says there in style, I'm like back when I was your age if someone wore torn jeans it was because they had nothing else to wear, not because they wanted to. So I have no clue. lol

depends if they are ripped up to much then no it looks weird on some people also but when there is like maybe 3-4 rips it ok!!!

It is fine. I wear them. I don't have the money to buy new jeans every time I get a hole in them.

It depends where I am. If it's at work, no. It also depends on where they are ripped, if it's just the knees i could care less but if it's the **** I don't want to see that.

I have a couple pair that are ripped and faded and all. Noone ever complains about them especially guys.

i love seen people with ripped jeans they look so cool i have tow myself my mom hate it when i wear them.

No. Never! It just looks sloppy. Maybe its ok to wear them if your painting your house but it never appropriate to wear them in public
