It should be no problem owning all of the Sims 1 games if you have the room for them on your computer.

The only problem there is, regards that the games all have to be installed in a certain order. That means when you collect the rest of the games and want to install them, if you have trouble, you need to save your games in the my documents file. Then uninstall all the games and reinstall in the correct order.

This weird rule only applies to the Sims 1.

The installation order is the order in which the packs were released.

This is the proper order, if you do not have The Sims Deluxe or Double Deluxe:
1. The Sims
2. Livin' Large (included in Deluxe and Double Deluxe)
3. House Party (included in Double Deluxe)
4. Hot Date
5. Vacation
6. Unleashed
7. Superstar
8. Makin' Magic

If you have The Sims Deluxe, this is the proper order of installation:
1. The Sims
2. House Party (included in Double Deluxe)
3. Hot Date
4. Vacation
5. Unleashed
6. Superstar
7. Makin' Magic

If you have The Sims Double Deluxe, this is the proper order of installation:
1. The Sims
2. Hot Date
3. Vacation
4. Unleashed
5. Superstar
6. Makin' Magic

I have all the Sims games on my PC and it didn't hurt it at all. It will take up a lot of room on the hard drive though. What do you mean by wreck? One tip - if you're on a DSL or broadband connection, you need to disconnect from the modem and turn off your anti-virus software so that the game doesn't constantly crash - I learned that the hard way. Also make sure you do routine maintenance, like defrags and stuff, before you install any new software.
Sims 2 IS better, but you need a really good 3D video driver to run it, so make sure your PC meets the specs on the box.

I had them all and my PC was fine. You would be better getting The Sims2 it's so much better than the first.

How on earth would it "wreck" your computer?
