Many view Isreal to be immune from criticism because of what happened in WWII and because they live in the promise land. Sorry that doesn't work for me. It's like African Americans still talking about slavery. It happen, we're sorry are but that's the past and the majority of those bringing it up tarnish what really happen and cheapen it.

Isreal should not be especailly attacked but there should not be anything wrong with criticizing them either. To them they chosen of God, to us, they are just people and we treat them the way we treat any people.

Criticizing Israel is not an act of anti-Semitism!!!

Israel is a Democratic Country, not only it's not anti-Semitism to criticize it, but its worst critics are the Israelis themselves!!!

And no, Israel, like any other country in the world should not be immune to criticism.

I love Israel, but I don't agree with everything that happened there. And I'm not talking necessarily about the current situation. As a citizen in a democratic country I can criticize its education system, I can criticize the involvement of the religious party in aspects of my life etc. etc. etc.

Is criticizing America anti-Americanism? Of course not. If you have a valid reason to criticize Israel it is not considered anti-Semitism. The problem though is that they are held to an unfair standard by the world. You saw what America is capable of when it is attacked by a foreign nation. We try to obliterate our enemies off the face of the universe. Yet when Israeli citizens are butchered in their homes daily Israel must sit with folded arms and accept it. Israel has lost more people in the last 5 years of "peace time" than America lost in 9'11 yet what would the world say if Israel responded in the manner America did? Its called a double standard.

Criticizing Israel is not Anti Semitic although there are those individuals and groups who want you to think it is . They oppose criticism even if its correct and attempt to stymy such thought or words by labeling it Anti Semitic. Objective criticism based on fact is part of the natural discourse that we all engage in on a regular basis. No Israel should absolutely not be immune to it. noone should be.

Anti-Semitism is a sham. Arabs are also Semites and get called anti-Semitic all of the time. It should be changed to anti-Zionist. That is more factual. No, Israel should not be immune to criticism, in fact anyone who does not criticize Israel is either misinformed or willfully ignorant.

Every country and government should be held accountable for its actions, including Israel. However, what is antisemitism (sic) is when Israel is criticized for minor actions compared to others who are doing it to a much greater degree. Think of two children playing in the mud. One child comes in with muddy hands. The other child is completely covered in mud, yet the parent criticizes only the one whose hands are covered. A situation like that is showing clearly biased and favortism and ignoring anything the parent doesn't want to see.

certainly, I see a ways extra human beings *****-ing that criticism of Israel will develop into anti-semitism than I see valid criticism of Israel be stated as so. I received't call someone an antisemite except they deserve it (the holocaust deniers, the Khazar concept-o-philes, the Jews administration the international peoples. in case you fall into those catagories, you're an antisemite. in case you want to talk the ethics of bulldozing homes used for terrorist applications, I received't. this is that straightforward). And, attempt to criticize Islam or an Islamofacist united states of america for more effective than 5 minutes formerly being stated as an Islamophobe, which will be equivalent to Jews (and the 20% of the Israeli inhabitants this is not Jewish...you spot, this is even as human beings assume that there are in ordinary words Jews in Israel that makes me ask your self about how cautioned they're...) in Israel. Peace liberassuckass11-are you particular human beings do not call you an antisemite because you employ words like "Jew guy", call Israel a "scourge", and connect the extensively-rejected Khazar concept (which in ordinary words antisemites and uninformed human beings dangle to those days)?

The land of "Israel" should be split in half. The northern half would be Palestine and the southern half Israel.
The new Israel and new Palestine completely disarmed, by force if needed.

In the middle occupying Jerusalem would be the new U.N. HQ with a corridor that divides these lands from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea. Stationed there should be 200,000 man Rapid Reaction Force capable of delivering a serious smack down to ANYONE in the region that acts out of line.

I don't believe so. Just because someone criticizes a country it doesn't necessarily mean an attack on their beliefs. If and when Israel does something to be criticized for, I see no reason to be quiet about it. No one is immune to criticism.

Very Good question. Whenever someone criticises Israel's aggression and act of wars, they label them as anti-semitic. If you ask me, DOUBLE STANDARD. Israel is a beautiful country, beautiful people, they deserve the right to exist, but so are the palestinians. Israel goverment and their policies SUCK the big one. Look what they did to Lebanon, UNFRIKINBELEIVABLE!!!!
