Why can't they be happy being actors and leave the music dreams to the musicians that aren't already famous?

Because... they have to get all the fame and money they can. Also, being a musician is hard. Most people aspire to be musicians, whether they can or cannot sing/play.
Most things in life are about who you know. When you're an actor already, you don't need to know anyone to get you there. You already can just work off of the fame that you have.

They also seem to think that they are somehow the most intelligent people when it comes to government and global affairs - as if they can even see the real world from their mansions.
You want to help starving people? Shut your mouth and donate your fortune to them. Get a real job and live like the rest of us. Then see how pious you feel.
