Yes, I was there in summer 2003. Had a crush on this pretty redhead with blue eyes where I use to work. The dangerous thing I did that was also the right thing: talk to my girlfriend about it.
She understood that love is not an on/off switch; if the chemistry is right, it happens. I told her I needed to talk about it because I wanted to let some of it out of me. I reassured her that she was more important to me than anything else in the world and that I wouldn't leave her for any other women.
I no longer work there and haven't seen her (the redhead) since. I married my girlfriend a month ago. It all went very well.

Yes I had a crush - and I turned him down.
I stayed in the relationship only to end it in a year or so after dealing with alcohol abuse.
By the time I was leaving town, my crush had gotten another girl he didn't love pregnant. He was one of those who just love his children. I told him I was going - he said that he loved his little girl beyond belief even if he didn't love the mother. Seems that my crush might have been the better man for me.
I was a child of divorce so I always took the choice of loyalty even when I was heading down the wrong path. I don't think this can be a choice for sheep. You choose the best you can with what you have at the time and grow from the experience. Sometimes I wish I would have had the wisdom and strength to choose my crush - by that time is gone.

Yes it happened to me. I acted on it and grew bored with it and went back to my husband. My husband knew of it and forgave me. We forgave each other for being in a rut and now are happy again. And I am no sheep. Far from it.

I've had many "crushes", while single, and while in a relationship. But it's never been a problem, crushes come and go.
