Before getting your clitoral hood pierced make sure that you have the right length of post.
Both me and my bestfriend go ours pierced. About 2 weeks after she claimed her hood had 'eaten' her piercing. Luckily her piercing was still new and she could push it out. But it was still painful. As for me, mine was fully healed when it happened to me. I sat for hours trying to push it out. I eventually had to go to the hospital to get it surgically removed. Its impossible to get anisthetic down there because of all the nerves. So I was fully awake and in pain.
I fully support getting it pierced. It DOES increase pleasure. And I'm getting it repierced soon. But just remember to make sure that the post isn't to short. Everyone is different, and not everyone fits into the standard post length.

It does hurt. It's a very strange kind of pain though, and it isn't going to be like your naval piercing. It really hurts, but the pain literally only lasts about 4 seconds. Then it never hurts again. It's a really easy piercing to heal. 6 weeks at most. Soap once a day, soak in salt water once a day. That's it. It does increase sensitivity. Not a whole lot, but enough that you'll notice.

EGAD! That sounds evil... Did you rotate your piercing and continue a general cleaning routine while bathing? I had a labret piercing "swallowed" ball-end when I put in a retainer before it was healed. I went to sleep, woke up, and... hey, I can see an o-ring-shaped lump on my chin! What material and length was your post and how fresh was the piercing? I haven't yet heard of this happening with well-healed piercings.

You told me more about clitoral piercing than I ever wanted to know. Except, who does this procedure (guy girl)? I can't imagine having job where I pierce clitoris all day. Come home to the wife and kids, "Boy was it a tough day, had a clitoris like a Goodyear tire". Then in bed at night, oh boy.

I hope you are aware that having that done when things braize against you you get off easier. This causes you to get off frequently and eventually making it harder for your to get off.
My best friend had hers for a while and told me the whole thing when I had considered doing mine. So just keep that in mind.
But your one tough cooky, after having that happen getting it redone! Yeeouch!!
