Her male buddy's name is Lestat, and she is a dark sable girl with a black nose and lots of black on her. Very cute and very sweet and affectionate.

mind you, I am looking for something elegant and pretty, and possibly a little dark (I named the male Lestat after the vampire). Any other suggestions?

Well since Lestat is from the Anne Rice books, how about Claudia. That would fit nicely & it's a pretty name.
