He may not have killed her but he is a perv nonetheless. Have you heard that he delivered his ex-wife's twins and they died? Also, he was like a fan of the other little girl that was murdered? Gross and sick. His penis should be chopped off and his hands too that way couldn't touch another little girl. Ewww!!!

He will be extradited to California and charged with a misdemeanor of possessing child porn. That's a minimal penalty, after which served, he could demand to be returned to Thailand, although they will certainly declare him PNG. After all, the state of Colorado grabbed him there on baseless charges. And how many other false confessions are made on a regular basis and, then, dismissed? Colorado should have tested in Thailand and avoided this circus.

Perhaps, the state of California could remand him for a mental evaluation, but, that seems unlikely unless every other possessor of child porn were treated likewise.
The only guilty parties here were the state of Colorado and the media.
Remember the case of Richard Jewell from the Atlanta Olympics?. Well wise to seek help, Kaar could well be in a position to sue the media and Colorado's butt off.

A higher spiritual force will take care of him.

I don't think we should do anything, except to look into his other crimes and administer justice for those crimes (as well as have him to seek mental help). If you think about it, all he did was falsly confess to the crime. People do that sort of thing all the time, without being charged. Reason why? All sorts of reasons, mostly because someone is mentally ill.

If he does get charged with false claims and obstruction of justice (as lulu belle said), that would be fitting as well, but realize that the sentence for those crimes will be dampened by the consideration of whatever mental illness he obviously has.

The law enforcement should have checked his DNA BEFORE bringing him over. The law enforcers had nothing but his confession to rely upon, and why should they rely upon someone who is understandably already untrustworthy as an informant?

The law enforcement chose, at their discretion, to fly him over, with pomp and circumstance, BEFORE checking his DNA to see if it even matched the evidence. His DNA could have been checked while he was in Thailand and then the media circus event would never have occured. It's not Karr's fault he's a nut and made a nutty confession, and therefore all kinds of money was spent; It's the law's fault for not checking the evidence first.

While on that subject, it was the media who incited all of the new public panic and excitement. Charge them for doing what they always do, telling a story before checking the facts.

As far as my saying that a "higher spiritual force will take care of it" and "why did he confess in the first place?"-- I will elaborate on those issues as I perceive them through my belief in reincarnation.

It is my personal belief that Karr must have committed a similar crime in a past life, but that he got away with it. His fascination with such ideas about little girls, as well as his false confession, may be his way of dealing with his own demons. I belief that, in most karmic cases, we learn through only parallel experience-- I mean that in order for Karr's soul to feel the justice of what he had done in another life, he is learning through the JonBenet case instead of actually having to go out and commit another horrible crime, only to be "caught" the second time around.

If you think about it, Karr will be a pariah for the rest of his life even though he is considered as not having committed the crime. Even if he is charged with the other (lesser) crimes of child porn, such sex offenders can sometimes manage to turn around and lead somewhat fulfilling lives, re-establishing trust in his or her community and getting a good job, etc. But Karr won't ever be able to re-establish this trust, because he confessed to killing a child in such a horrendous fashion. He will be ostracized from any community forever- everyone will recognize him, whereas most people wouldn't recognize the average sexual offender living four doors down.

It's all about karma.

He's obviously deranged, tho' he is not the only one, he just decided to advertise it. It was probably just a scam to get out of the jail in Taiwan (right?). I hear they are pretty harsh compared to us. Done with him...about him? Hmmm. Someone must make sure he stays away from kids, not be hired for day care or as a nanny, how weird. What about some intense, is it adversity training? So if he even toyed with the idea of hurting a child he'd go into throws of pain and throw up for days...?

I truly believe that Karr is suffering from a severe mental disturbance and is in need of help. However, his help should come from inside a prison cell. He is obviously a danger to not only young children and his family, but most likely himself as well.

Tne man obviously suffers from some sort of mental deficiencies. He quite possibly has some delusional mania as well. He does have to face court in California on pornography charges. I would imagine he will be institutionalized .

If he is found quilty as charged, then he should be castrated or put to death by lethal injection or electric chair. Fry them. Don't put them in prisons and throw the keys away;that's too mild.
The punishment should equate the crime.

I would love for him to be sent back to Thailand. Their prison system is the pits (which is why he probably falsely confessed) and he'll probably get justice served there by the other inmates.

He should be brought up on Federal Fraud charges and also barred from gaining any money via film, book deals from this fraud. Or, just send him back to Thailand and let them deal with him!

That fella needs to be charged with false claims and obstruction of justice. and then be locked away where no one can see him because with this stunt he got lots of publicity, which obviously is what the perv is getting off on.
