I need to come up with a creative theme to name our conference rooms at my work ... they should be somehow related to the online/search industry and be "appropriate" for the workplace. Any creative folks out there with a good idea?

I thought about going the "major inventions"-route like Email, Cell Phone ... etc. But I can't imagine saying "Let's meet in "Email" for our 2 o'clock."

Use successful business adjectives or attributes that would work cross-relationally with any business. For example: success, excellence, determination, drive, consistent, excitement. Meet in the Excellence room for our presentation at 3pm.
Another thought is the literal continuation of your natural idea of the major inventions, but tailor them for your business with specific parts: search, shift, control, send, contact
You can use the double meanings quite well with those also. We have a brainstorm session in the Search Room at 4pm.
Good luck and remember it is what comes out of those rooms that count!
