Unfortunately, yes. Only on things that I know will be in style for a while. I'm addicted to designer jeans. The real ones not the fake ones.

It's kind of something you have or don't have. You can't just learn to be trendy. Try on what you think is a trendy outfit, then see what people think. Or just try and look good. You can have the trends, but actually being trendy is different. Anyways, on the budget part, I like H and M. It's cool and not really expensive. Also Aeropostale, if you're not too old for it (I would say eighteen is too old, but that's just me). Anyways, good luck shopping, darling!

No. I have no desire to be trendy. I wear what I like.
When there is a trend that I like, I pick up a handbag or some other accessory (at an outlet or on sale) to wear with my existing wardrobe. It is a great way to stay in fashion without spending tons of money.

You dont have to spend alot of money to be trendy....you can find great bargains on trendy items at stores that offer brand names for less........Its a matter of spending the time shopping for the right stuff. Invest in time to browse and watch whats hot in magazines and on celebrities or better, start your own trend.

I'm part of the "hipster scene" - have been for years.
Usually, we all have a good laugh at people who go out of their way to spend an excessive amount of money trying to emulate our style of fashion.
Simple trick to looking good and not being called a poseur?
THRIFT STORES.
Good luck though, becuase my generation cruises these places daily and snatches up everything cool they can find to sell in our "Vintage Boutiques" for an incredible mark-up.
Best of luck.
