I guess I'm a little OCD, because I CAN'T dump them until I've looked through them. At least I don't feel compelled to actually READ everything anymore. Some are business-related, some not. It really distracts me and creates anxiety. Also annoys me that I can't just unsubscribe (though I subscribe to many less than I used to.

Yes! I have a ton of piles of magazines that I buy or subscribe to and I just never have the time to read them all. The kind I like have a lot of articles to read and I never get around to them all. But I always buy the new ones even if I haven't read the last issues yet because I know that if I don't the store won't have them anymore and I would have to go to ebay and look for the one issue that I missed. It's the same way with some comic books that are monthly that I collect. I buy them even if I won't read them for a while.

"studying the Bible on my own or evaluating scripture with Scripture is forbidden." it really is a pretend reality - in view that I and many thousands of Jehovah's Witnesses attempt this each day of our lives. even as someone examines heritage for the sake of heritage, they're going to locate that the great thinkers of their day, the Martin Luthers, the bathing room Hus', the William Tyndales, the Lollards, the bathing room Wycliffes, ALL sought outdoors help and printed resources to strengthen their understand-how of the Scriptures. trust it or no longer, it really is the tale of the Reformation, because those thinkers had to attain extra enlightenment from others, and make the most of their analyze. we stay a restricted variety of years. many times 70 or 80, perchance some more beneficial. We develop our wondering through collecting understand-how and passing to the subsequent era. And one way guy has performed this passing of tips is via the printed web page. because of this the GUTENBERG PRESS change into one of those leap ahead in educating mankind as an complete, yet to boot interior the Scriptures. we will be amiss to brush aside extra academic cloth because it change into in printed variety. Being in printed variety enables us to analyze at our convenience, at our %., and grants us time to desire over the concerns presented. what's quite exciting is that the apostle Paul made an fairly exciting reality in Colossians 4:16 - "And even as this letter has been examine between you, organize that it also be examine interior the congregation of the Laodiceans and that you also examine the only from Laodicea." LETTERS? Over and above the Scriptures? And Paul change into recommending them to be examine? Thank goodness he did!

I don't know why I save my magazines. I've read and re-read them, so why are they sitting in my room?

I finally went through a few of them and gave them to my sister to read and let her throw them away.

Although, I should throw them out when I'm finished with them or else my step-son "borrows" them. I don't want to know what a teenage boy does with magazines such as Glamour or Marie-Claire or Cosmopolitan. I really don't.

Same problem here, I have about 200 magazines laying around the house, I just can't bring myself to throw them away without looking at them.
