Hi
I wouldnt recommend losing 1stone in 1week. Unfortunately weight doesnt just drop off automatically and usually takes just a simple change in diet and a small amount of exercise to get you going. Dont jump ahead, You will lose the weight but give yourself 6 weeks , if you achieve it sooner then superb, but dont do it the unhealthy way as most of all this leads to becoming ill and with no or little result. Look at what you eat, plan what you can eat, eat 3 meals a day, breakfast , cereal or whatever is the most important and stops you from snacking, and if you snack have pre-prepared snacks ie cut up carrot sticks or cucumber
I know it sounds so boring but it works, also if you have soup for snacks or your lunch then you will already be cutting down.
best of luck Hope this helps xxx

I have the same problem you do. So this is what I've come up w/, its no good trying to starve myself cause then I'll look sick not slim, there's really no way I know to lose a Lot of weight in a week that's healthy. So basically, I've been exercising a lot more, and lowering the amt of fatty/sugary foods I eat. I figure that if not in one week, maybe in 2/3 more, I'll be where I want, and I have to start sometime. I hope this helps you.

What makes you lose weight is a very simple formula:
AmountOfEnergyYouTakeIn MINUS AmountOfEnergyYouPutOut
Food is measured in "calories", which is a unit of energy. Food input is your body's source of energy. If the difference above is positive, your body will slowly gain weight. If the difference above is negative, your body will look for energy from your fat stores, consume them, thereby making you thinner and weigh less.
Its that simple. Regardless of the diet or program, this simple rule is ALWAYS followed.
So ... if you run, that's a form of exercise, that's a way to output energy and a way to make the second term in the formula above get bigger. But if after you run you come home and eat three bags of potato chips and other fatty processed foods, you won't lose weight.
Some supplements (Chromium Picolinate, L-Carnitine) help this process. Others (Garcina Carbon*) help suppress your appetite. But to lose weight, you must expend more energy than you take in.

Don't starve yourself. Eat healthy, exercise but switch off days. Do upper body one day and the next do lower body. Try Pilate's or yoga. Go for a bike ride, go swimming, hiking and try to stay active. Also green tea is suppose to help with controlling your metabolism and help you lose weight. Drink lots of water, no juice.
