Of course he should. He is not giving the support for the woman who cheated on him. He is supporting his child. The child needs to be taken care of no matter what the situation is, its not the childs fault. And since the mother has custody the court would probably grant her child support anyways.

As a divorced mother and as a wife now of a husband who has children with a previous wife, Yes you should send your child the child support. The fact of the matter is this....when you do go to court, the judge is going to make you pay your child support anyway, so why not start now.....your child didn't cheat on you, your wife did, so the child doesn't deserve to do without because of your wife's mistake. If you pay now voluntarily, it will just prove what a good father you are trying to be and if she doesn't let you see the child before your final court hearing, it is only going to look bad on her.......Good luck

If separated child support must start now. Don't wait till divorce or husband will have to pay up one years worth of support. Any payments that the husband makes should be saved to prove it was paid. Anything that is paid to help child support.
Husband also should not go crazy with overpaying for the support. Find out what it should be an pay. If husband goes crazy of paying twice as much as the courts say he should he could end up paying that forever.

I think it's his moral obligation to financially support his child and yes he should start right away. The child did nothing to him it was the wife.
And he should also get the wife to agree to visitation schedule right away as well.
Cause the judge will want to know what the current arrangements were during the seperation and that will influence his decision on what the arrangements will be after the divorce.

Just because the wife cheated and the father left is no reason for him to ever stop supporting his child.

Cheating has nothing to do with custody or child support. Yes he should make good on supporting his child. It does make him look better before the judge.

Well, he could have but you also could have to. It doesn't matter when you doing before or after. Because when the divorce papers are written it will be included in the decree. It would have been probably nice if he had paid you something why you were waiting.

Your question made no sense. Husbands are not a minor and cannot receive child support.
Whichever the case, such as adultery (if proven and by the state you reside), there is such as claim called spousal support.
