The solution to the border problem is farther inland. The people that hire illegals are the problem. Put them in jail, and throw away the key, in effect they are commiting treason. The company's should be fined large huge amounts. If it bankrupts them, that is the cost of doing an illegal business.

As for national security, I would call back the troupes from all over the world and disban the military. I would rebuild it in a way to provide Millitary Defense, I would do away with an attacking force and I would leave the air force in tack and just keep a small special opps, marines, navy, and army forse for claudestine purposes only. These men would be carear best of the best. I would keep the national reserves so that they could be home with their familys and train to be the best attack force in the world. These partime men and woman would be the backbone of our service. The Navy would be left with a few minor changes. They would protect as a first line defense for our seaside borders. We also need a coast guard. If I am elected president there is much work to be done. Building bases in our home towns where the revenue stays in the United States.
