I know what you mean. I've gone from Church of Christ, Freewill Baptist, Assemblies of God, Lutheran, then to the Baha'i Faith. Now I'm a Buddhist, and I wonder how long that might last. :-)

I think that like any form of learning, religion is a process of evolution. As once acquires new data, it is important to compare that with already known data, and if there is a conflict, then change must occur. For most, I presume that it doesn't involve a change of religion (although of denomination perhaps), but a greater understanding of the religion they are in already.

For me, it involved the process of finding myself, which I believe is coming later in life than it does for most people. As I learn about myself, old information is challenged by new data, and it either requires putting the data in its place in terms of the old paradigms, or a change of some kind results. In my case, I'm always gathering data, so I do believe that finding what is right is difficult.

Hope that answers your question.

Yes, I was raised Baptist. However about 9yrs ago my wife and I divorced two days after I moved out one of the Ministers that married us moved in he was also married w/two kids. We were married for 12 years. After that church became difficult for me and I bounced from several different denominations. I have recently been reading a lot about the Kabahalla (not sure of spelling) it seems to be pretty black and white. I haven't found any religion that seems to be true and not full of allot of garbage. I think most people just settle for one that allows them to commit the sins they commit and accept it. good luck

I've been Eastern Orthodox my entire life - no interest in leaving for another religion where I have lived the true faith which stretches back to Christ's time.

If you are a Christian, please check out the Seventh-Day Adventist faith. We follow the Bible and the Bible alone.
