At 16 you are young and your skin still has enough elasticity to shrink back. As you get older that won't happen and loose flabby skin could develop if you continue to gain and lose large amounts of weight.

Yes it is possible if the weight is concentrated in only one area via the stomach. If the weight is distributed evenly and if lost the same way thoughout the body while strength training and losing weight not too fast then there shouldn't be a problem as long as you are toning while losing. Remember that muscle weighs more then fat and I wouldn't concern myself so much with the weight as much as with the tone of muscle and things of that nature. There is a possiblity that you will have flabby skin but as I stated it would be more likely if the weight was in only one area most people don't have that issue and weight is distributed throughtout there body. Lose it in that fashion and it should be ok. Best of Luck with it!!!

the fact that your age is sixteen should dramatixally reduce the chances of you having lots of loose skin. some key factors that will definatley make a big difference is how fast you lose the weight (slower is better), genetics will play a big role(if your mother has good elastisity with her skin then your chances of having good elastisity are good), also work out as much as possible (toning up along with losing weight will almost elliminate loose ,saggy skin) also don't let tour weight yo-yo up and down this can cause you to lose alot of elastisity that you have ,after that your only option is surgery! good luck !!!

I just lost 44 pounds and have loose skin and I'm 19...so my answer would be yes...I'm sure it wouldnt matter how much over weight you are. Try toning it with weights or stretching exercizes. Or if you want they have a Titan system for skin that uses lazers to tighten the skin.

No, at the age of 16, the skin is still elastic enough to recover, as long as the weight is lost gradually and is couple with muscular toning. If the weight is lost through excersize, there should be no loose or hanging skin.

It depends on how fast she loses it. If it's lost in a very short amount of time, yes she might have loose skin. If she loses it over a period of time (7 monthes) no she won't. When losing weight you need to consume alot of veggies because it make your skin more elastic causing skin not to flab.

No, she will have to do some muscle toning exercises to firm up the skin. But there is a possibility that she will always have that loose skin. I would say to make sure that she does it the right way, a healthy diet and regular exercising should do the trick.
