It's a creepy, chills up the spine kind fear.

In the context of To Kill A Mockingbird:

Much later in the story, in the middle of the End, after Tom Robinson commits suicide, we learn that "Mr. Ewell said it made one down and about two more to go."

Soon after that the Judge, who embarrassed Mr. Ewell in the trial, has an attempted break-in at his house. If readers had not already figured it out, they now know for sure who the third party is that Mr. Ewell alluded to. Readers become viscerally afraid for Atticus and start turning the pages faster. Soon after, when Aunt Alexandra stops short in the middle of her sentence, and says, "Somebody just walked over my grave," readers feel the sensation as well and their fear deepens.

This has been asked multiple times before:

It is a holdover from the days when signs, omens and portents were take very seriously by most people. You know, hand itching means money or visitors, ears burning means someone is talking about you, a black cat is bad luck, etc.
The belief was that graves were, indeed, "final resting places", where you would be, perhaps somehow a little aware, forever and ever. So if someone walked on your grave, you would know.

The actual myth is that you shiver when someone or something walks over the place where you will be buried when you die. Another version is "A goose walked over my grave." This is why those little bumps you get on your skin when cold are called "goosebumps".

It's usually the physical manifestation of a dire premonition. Like a shiver out of nowhere or in unexpected response to something said.

It means that someone felt a chill go up their spine. I've heard people say that it gives one a feeling of great fear.

Friendship, no it isn't undesirable....my contacts purely this week helped me turn my head faraway from the darkness and in the direction of the gentle....this is not delusional in any respect, yet a truth.
