Get two alarms. The one near the bed is set to gentle music. This gives you a chance to wake up plesantly everyday without a loud jolting alarm. The second alarm clock is set across the room for a time 30 minutes later and is set to loud annoyng horn. This is your back up for those mornings when you need a little extra nudging.

Keep a hammer by the bed, as soon as the alarm goes off, and before turning it off, smash your thumb with the hammer, then turn off alarm. Getting up to get a bag of ice for your thumb and the throbbing pain should do the trick. After a few days, you shouldn't even need the hammer anymore.

Move your alarm clock across the room so you must get up out of bed to turn it off, hopefully you'll be afraid of hitting that snooze button once you are out of bed.

i have that same exact problem and trust me moving it across the room does not work for me i just go and turn it off and go back to bed.. i work 3rd shift now so i don't have to worry about an alarm clock going off..... But if for some reason i need to be up by a certain time i just have some one call me... I just hate alarm clocks more than anything!!!!

Get two alarm clocks set them 15-20 mins apart...when the first alarm rings start to wake up....(don't think you have an extra 15 minutes lol) so by the time the second alarm rings your a little awake and if you fell back asleep you will have a backup...
MAKE SURE THE FIRST ALARM IS EARLIER THEN YOU NEED TO WAKE UP....SO YOU GIVE YOUR SELF THAT EXTRA TIME....
SOUNDS WEIRD BUT IT WORKS.... good luck..
MAKES YOU THINK YOU GOT EXTRA TIME....

Go to bed earlier if possible. Get at least 8hrs 15 min of sleep. Sleep will help you function better during the day, and also helps if you are trying to lose weight. Along with diet and exercise of course! Put the alarm far away so you have to walk to it.

Set the alarm to a radio station you can't stand and put it on the other side of the room so you'll have to walk across to turn it off. It worked for me, once... I was in a bad mood all day and never did it again.

Get up!!!
train yourself to get directly out of bed and do something - like brush your teeth, wash your face, drink a glass of cold water. To help you, you might want to put the alarm across the room.

Put your alarm clock in a location that requires you to get out of bed to turn it off. (like across the room). That way you're already out of bed and on your feet.
