If you in an area of the country that is deregulated, choosing a supplier with a lower rate will make a difference.

If you have electric hot water you could set the temperature level to a level about 10 to 15 degrees lower than it is now.

If you use a lot of air conditioning raise the temperature by 10 degrees and close any blinds during day light hours to reduce solar heating.
