How about the Castlevania games Curse Of Darkness and
Lament Of Innocence? Castlevania is vampire-themed and has always been a quality series. Van Helsing might not be a bad choice either, since it's basically a Devil May Cry clone (and DMC is gooood). There's a game called Vampire Panic by Sammy, the same compnay that made the Guilty Gear games, so it should be good, but I don't know what it's like. Speaking of Guilty Gear, there's a character called Slayer in Guilty Gear X2 that's a vampire. Awesome character, and a great game if you're into fighting games. I don't know about the Buffy game, but I do love the series.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer was good but I had it on XBOX so I aint sure if it is available on PS2, be aware though that the sequal "chaos bleeds" was awful. Bloodrayne is also worth a look and if you are willing to ignore the game being good then also look at the Blade 2 and Underworld movie tie-ins, both will be pretty cheap now so could be worth a look.

Final Fantasy VII : Derge of Cerberus. Although I am a FF nerd, myself. I haven't played this game just yet. But the reviews I've seen on it are probably better than any other game I have seen on the market. It combines the old Vincent Valentine(who is a vampire that was biogenetically created by Shinra.) It also has a FPS(First Person Shooter) role in the game too. Check it out!

from the Legacy of Kane series
blood omen 2 great story line you will play as Kane a vampire that has laid away for 200 years and you slowly start gaining different ability's throughout the game so can regain control what once was yours
and theres darkwatch but its a first person shooter you play as and outlaw that trys to rob a train that contains Dracula but you get bittin and have to defeat dracula before you become a complete vampire.

Hi, I would go for the Devil May Cry series they are always action packed scary gothic style. Or Onimusha but that ones not really Vamipiry. Hope that helps.
