Giving birth is painful and while I was going through it I just wanted it to stop. But once it was over the intense cramps were gone and it was just soreness which lasted a long time. But it was so worth it too hold my son who I had waited for so long.
If you love children and want some of your own - the experience is incredible. When else will you suffer so much for such beauty?
But if you don't want kids - don't have them. It isn't worth the pain if you are going to resent them for being in your life.

Very, very sore! A vaginal birth does things to your body that you would never expect. I can't say you'll be very sore during the actual labor... because the pain of contractions far out weight any soreness, and will be the only thing on your mind. The pushing part itself was the best part for me because it numbed out the contractions while pushing. The soreness comes after the birth. It does heal... and things return to normal in a few weeks. If you happen to need an apesiotomy... you'll have alot of trouble sitting down comfortably for the first couple of weeks after giving birth (and going to the bathroom won't be a vacation either). Sex also becomes very painful initially (no sex for at least six weeks after delivery)... but will eventually get better the more you have it.
I'm not telling you this to scare you. If it was unbearable... procreation would have ended long ago. Trust me when I tell you... you will live through it... and you'll be surprised how willing you'll be to do it all over again.
Delivered my first with no drugs... will be doing the same for my second baby in a few short months.

LOL !!! I cant believe she said it was uncomfortable ..yeah right !!! Honey it all depends on your personal threshold of pain ..some can take it , some cant but rest assured it will be pain. More from contractions leading up the the pushing, and FYI after each contraction you will have like 1min or 2to recover I know it doesn't sound like a lot but that little bit of time can be golden..The more you read and understand labor the less scared you will be which will make you labor go by much smoother than panicking.LOL have fun!

Super duper painful. You feel like your going to die. You are in such pain that you can't even cry.
Especially when the head starts to come...oh my gosh...it is the worst feeling in the world.
But there is light at the end of the tunnel. Once the head is out the rest just slides out. And then you have a beautiful baby and pretty much you don't feel any more pain.
You're so tired and relieved you don't think anything feels as bad as what pushing that kid out did.

The joy of becoming a mother over comes the pain, your not completely feeling everything after so many hours anyway. I gave natural birth twice. For those who are completely afraid or have a low pain tolerance, they have drugs that can help dull or numb the pain away.

I cannot imagine NOT giving birth as I would not have my daughter. It is so worth it. You eventually forget all you went through cause the outcome far outweighs the pain. Besides you can have an epidural if you can't endure the pain.

yeah it hurts, but after awhile you don't even remember the pain. Don't avoid having children because you think you can't handle it. You can handle it, just like the gazillion of women who have given birth since the beginning of time.

Sore? Like pulling a watermelon through your nose.
They say that you forget the pain - they lie.
Was it worth it? Yes, definitely.
Did I do it more than once? Nope.
