SInce I have a banquet to go to in about a month, and I would really like to wear my sandals to the banquet. I don't know if I should wear my Birkenstocks, or my Dr. Marten's.

none of those opt for a pair of strappy ones with a 6 to 9 inch heel ull luk great!

Some places, sandals are just not an appropriate thing to wear. And one of those places is any kind of formal social gathering. Wear your sandals to a Barbeque, but NOT a banquet. Take some pride in your appearance, people will notice.

If it's formal, neither. Although I do love my Birkies and even wear them with socks.
