iam confused! which color should i buy! what is the fashion today?

Mine are an ivory color. The current trend seems to be towards more earth toned colors and durable finish. A tobacco brown leather might be nice. Log on to Restoration Hardware, Spiegel or go into the local furniture stores for some ideas.
If I had it to do over again, I'd go with a soft/smoth brown leather of some kind with two matching rocking leather recliners and cool accent tables. They have rocking recliners at Costco. Couches, too, in some stores.

I have a navy leather couch and love seat in my living room. The room has a warm feel to it because of the rich colors although the walls are light and the ceiling is cathedral with huge windows so it isn't dark.
Upstairs in the loft I have a red leather couch - not bright red, more candy apple color. The accents are black with some leopard and tiger print decor. I call it the tiger room. And I was so happy to have a place to put a little wooden giraffe!
I like neutral colors like tan, beige, brown - but those are difficult to keep clean if you have pets or children. Rich, warm colors are cozy. I think what's in doesn't matter - choose what makes you happy to be in the room : )

well it depends on carpet and wall colors. Our carpet is hunter green and our couches are a creamy coffee color :) Just match the colors with the surroundings in the living room. Buy what looks comfortable to you. Style isn't everything. You don't want to sit on a cactus just because it looks good ;) Hope this helps!

I'm afraid of furniture commitment so I have neutral, beige color couches and to brighten things up, I have some brightly colored pillows and throw blankets on them. This is great because when I get tired of the red pillows and blankets, I switch them with any other color I like.

Mine are dark green leather. But I think the fashion today is to go with something a bit more earth-tone based.

Mine are bright red leather. You just have to shop around and buy what you like, there are so many styles that are in fashion today.

it all depends on what type of person you are plus what your color your room is you are the one who has to buy it go looking around and chose the one you like best with the color and the comfort of it

I have neutral beige furniture. I'm really glad to because we're getting ready to redo the colors in our house. I think it looks classic and we can change colors of other things in there from time to time.
