You really can't call it the new age movement. The new age movement has been around for ages, its not really new at all.
The only difference is that the "new age" religions are becoming more mainstream than in the past. As far as peace goes, most "new age" religions preach pacifism and love above all else. The Wiccan credo is "An' it harm none, do what ye will." Animism is also a simple religion based on the belief of spirits, much like the ancient Japanese and Native Americans. If you think it interferes with our innocence, you may want to instead point your finger at satanic cults, because Satanism actually isn't about devil-worship at all; it's about worshipping the Earth.

I'm not sure what that is.

And as for the bonzo guy with the chimp avatar. Ignore him. He probably has no self esteem and the only way he can get off is to insult other people.

Hallooin is right. The only reason why Earth based religions are considered devil worshipping is because of the Christianity movement that made anything that wasn't what they believed to be Satanic.

Like the penticle. It was never considered the sign of the devil until Hollywood made it so. It's the sign of Venus because Venus is what Pagans considered the Goddess. Did you know that the planet Venus, in its movements across the night sky, makes the Penticle in 8 years. They used this movement in ancient Greek times to plan the Olympics.

New Age is a hodgepodge of other religions blended in any number of ways to suit the likes of the follower.

This is not the faith that Jesus Christ calls us to. New Age religion is a diversion from and twisting of the Truth.

I recommend you stay away from it's false teachers, preachers, and followers; and, stick with faith in Christ that has the power to save your soul.
