Can I play Japanese GBA games on my UK Nintendo DS?

I want to import Bit Generations titles.

Yes, I live in Japan and it's fully compatible.

I'll send you a game if you want to test it I have a few.

well i think so because Nintendo DS could play any GBA games including japanese ones
but it's not on PS2 games because UK PS2 games are made of a file called PAL and the japanese noes are made of NTSC.
