Sounds like the industry standard. Depending on if you have the Uninsured motorist, it could be even higher. MC Insurance is just expensive. Damn Suits.
My 99 1500 Drifter costs me about $450./yr and I waved the Uninsured Motorist becaus it nearly Doubled the cost. I'm with Progressive

In Indiana I'm paying $200 for basic for a year on a '78 Goldwing and I'm a 43 year old male. A buddy of mine, 33 year old male, is paying $660 for full coverage on a '00 Road King and basic on a '88 Sporty for a year.

check you policy and see if PIP is one of the things your paying for. PIP or personnel injury protection is a big hit on motorcycle insurance
