Ok, is it normal to sometimes feel bad about something you did as a young kid. I can't sleep lately because I feel guilty about stuff I did in 6th grade. If it is inportant it wasn't really bad. I got caught cheating on a poem we were soposed to memorize. I am now going to 8th. So, if this has ever happend to you please tell me your story, and how you delt with it.

This is totally normal. I still get guilty feelings once in awhile about things I did in the past. I think it is because as we get older we develop more of a conscience and an understanding of the consequences of our actions. I believe it is a good thing to feel twinges of guilt about past mistakes because it shows that you are a conscientious and caring person. It also keeps you from repeating the same mistakes.

Don't know of a story to tell, but it is normal to remember thing we have done before and be happy about some things and sad about others. The main thing to remember is try to do the right thing and be proud of what you do. You won't always be able to do this, but none of us are perfect. If you want to have a friends, be a friend. Read the poem "If" by Kipling. I like to memorize things for fun ... not when I was your age, but later. Good Luck and have a wonderful life. Reading is the answer!

When I was in the second grade I cheated on a spelling test and felt really bad about and it ate me up inside. you are a good person for having these feelings. the best thing you can do is learn from what you did, and it sounds like you have and forgive yourself.

Let it go honey! You will start experiencing things way worse, as life goes on. Things like this are used as tools to learn your way through life. This lesson would be not to cheat anymore. Forgive yourself, live honestly and enjoy the 8th grade. Life could be worse sweetie!
