No I do not think so.I think not all Asian (chinese )women are so shy with the caucasian men.Maybe a few of them are shy because they are not so educated and they come from a poor family. in a remote villages.Ladies who have a good education and come from a rich family in towns will be brave to make a relationship with caucasian men based on the equality.They have a strong personalities.They know thsat making a broad relationship with other races will give them a long life and will make much money and other form of subsistences.

Why should they be shy? All it is is probably an intimidation thing because the caucasian men are taller and bigger than the asian women. Do not worry about it. We are all the same..... We just come in all different packages!

My last gf was Chinese. She was in no way shy with any caucasian man.
If the lady you are dealing with is shy then you should try harder. If it doesn't work you should move onto something else.

Culture. Chinese women were raised to be modest, and were also raised with a slanted view of westerners, not necessarily negative view but not a true view none the less.

If you show any woman with disrespect, then they "SHY AWAY" from you. Most Asian woman are reserved woman, they don't open their mouth unless it's necessary to do so. Most Asian woman likes white guys, but if they see that they are not being respected, then the so called "SHYNESS" comes through, which means "STAY AWAY FROM ME" !.
