When you compress a hard drive, which by the way is a useless and unneeded feature, it zips alot of the programs to help free up space these files need to be uncompressed to view them. Good Luck

open my computer and right click on your hard drive and go to properties and towards the bottom there should be a check box that says compress drive to save disk space. If your drive was compressed it will be checked to uncompress it just uncheck it and hit ok
