How can i enchance my flash drive's memory capacity?

hi. i have a sandisk 256mb flash drive and its full. i dont want to delete all the files in there cause most of them are very important, mostly are school stuffs. so is there anyway i can increased the capacity of my flash drive..either free or not free? in addition, is there anyway i can make it as a wireless adapter..u know for wifi and all that stuff? im looking for a free way to this.

You will have to clear space in the device if you want to add more files.

There is no way around it. Unless the drive has the capability to swap a flash card, you either have to empty the drive, or get a new one.

The easiest, cheapest solution is to transfer the files from the flash drive, to you computer and then burning the files onto a CD or DVD. Now the files will be safe and you can delete them from the flash drive.

The idea behind the flash drive is to make files portable, not to archive files. If you need some files for school, then copy the ones you need from the CD to the flash drive. Then either delete them or upload them into your system to burn CDs later.

It's very easy and very handy. I used to carry around a ZIP drive and cartridges for this purpose. A flash drive is so much easier!

Buy a larger one. 256mb is 256mb and all the so-called compression schemes are not going to help unless you want to zip up each file using something like winzip. You will still have a 256mb capacity even though less of it will be used so you can stuff even more junk on it.
