Local schools that really licked balls.
I mean...the place itself is amazing. It's safe, clean, and just overall very modern and up to date with it's techonolgy.

But the schools....wow.
Now that's a whole 'nother story.
Maybe it's because i'm from America (I lived there for 5 years)
but I mean...c'mon.
I hate how they have this crazy conformity.
Like...they actually TELL YOU how to cut your hair and how to wear your socks and crap like that. That's a load of crap.

One time the "discipline master" aka the douche bag came up behind me and pulled my hair saying it was too long. I slapped his hand away and just walked off. That's lame. (btw..i never cut it :D)
And these chinese dudes kept throwing ice at me every lunch calling me an "ang mo" and crap like that. Racist idiots. So one day I just lost it and threw a piece of ice back that hit him right in the eye. Well...after that they didn't bug me anymore.
I also hate how they make the schools so damn stressful. It's stupid. It's like kids have to devote their WHOLE lives to school which gives them no time to shape their own character.

The only other thing was that the people didn't seem very friendly. Maybe cuz I was raised in California where it's basically normal to talk to random people, but over there people seemed like they were always avoiding simple interaction.
But i'm not saying EVERYONE! jeez. Alot of them are the nicest people i've ever met.

But yeah...other than those two...the country is amazing. I love how it's just so safe! You can walk the city (which I LOVE) at midnight and not worry about anything.
Sorry I got carried away. :P

VERY NICE:Singapore, independent republic in Southeast Asia, comprising 1 main island and about 50 small adjacent islands off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. The main island, Singapore Island, is separated from Malaysia on the north by the narrow Johore Strait and is linked by road and rail to the Malaysian city of Johor Baharu. On the south, Singapore Island is separated from Indonesia’s Riau Archipelago by the Singapore Strait, an important shipping channel linking the Indian Ocean to the west with the South China Sea on the east.

The Republic of Singapore is considered a city-state because most of the territory of the main island is part of the metropolis of Singapore. The main island is densely populated, especially in its south central portion where the central business district and main port are located. About three-fourths of the people of Singapore, known as Singaporeans, are Chinese, but there are significant Malay and Indian minorities.

Singapore contained just a few fishing settlements and a small trading port when the islands became part of the British colonial empire in the 1820s. Britain developed Singapore into a major international trade center, and the local Malay population soon swelled with immigrants from China and India. Since becoming an independent republic in 1965, multiethnic Singapore has maintained political stability and high economic growth. Singapore is Southeast Asia’s most important seaport, financial center, and manufacturing hub, and its citizens enjoy one of the world’s highest standards of living.
