Products like de-solv-it and goof off care good at removing adhesives from just about any surface. I would try to avoid getting it on the paint though because it will probably take some of the wax off.

Soap and water or windex and a razor blade. Scrape it off. Wet the glue first and scrape iff the glue.

I think you are missing the point.
Everything is here for a reason, glue stains included.
You should learn to love them as a free part of the car.

SCRAPE IT WIYH A RAZOR. BE CAREFUL NOT TO SCRATCH THE GLASS. ALCOHOL WILL THEN BE FINE. DONT EVER USE POLISH REMOVER BECAUSE IT WILL DRIP ON YOUR PAINT AND DESTROY IT.

go to chemist and get acitone its a very strong desolvent and gets anything off.Its in nail varnish remover but very weak.
