yes i do. when someones life depends on it, when you get pulled over by a police officer at 4:30 in the morning, going back to your boyfriends house after a party, for running a red light and he asks you if you have been drinking

Humans are a lying species,
lies in our language have a different
sound, if you tell a lie you are creating
an illusion ..
Should someone tell a lie ??
People always do !!
Is it you want conformation to tell a lie ?>
The life of a human is to deceive, so
hence we create obstacles, humans lie
in the external world as well as lying to
themselves, of course if one does not know
a truth how do we know when we lie !!!!!
Even when one says, ( i ) we lie, because
we are never the same ( i ) as the day before,
we are surrounded by lies, so all i can say
is, if you feel the need to tell a lie, well then,
go for it, it IS what humans do , but remember,
lies produce more lies, it depends on how many
illusions you need in your life !!!
lies are buffers, so you lie as not to hurt someone,
just great, if someone cannot accept the truth
from you, why keep them around !!!!
What the word needs is not love but understanding
our lives as we lived it ... Ourselves need to
understand this as well as our friends & lovers ...
But like i've stated, humans are the lying animal !!
This would BE our tag in a ZOO !!!!

it would be nice to call in sick and
just say; i don't feel like being there
today, so i won't come in today !!
But, the rules are one needs a very good
reason not to show up for work !!!
So, sometimes we lie to have a rest or
day at the beach or what ever we need to

Yes discretion can be the betterpart of valour. Do not lie to yourself.
In an unfair situation where the truth will not do and no one will let it do, then a lie is the only option. It depends what you lie about. Lying on someone is not good as it upsets peace and starts or exasserbates trouble. It decreases you integrity and credibility.
Lying to humour the mentally ill is acceptaple and save your life, someone else's life, or your job.

Lying is something to be avoided but say you ask your guy if you look unflattering in the new dress you are wearing (which just so happens to be the most favorite thing in your wardrobe at the moment) and he replies "It's a grandma dress that makes your butt look weirdly big" I really would have prefered he lied.
So yeah, there are times to tell a lie....like the case above....poor guy is gonna be feeling frigid for a while.

White lies are ok I believe. They are told to spare someones feelings. Or what you might say streching the truth a bit like when a cop pulls you over.Like granny used to say if you can't say something nice don't say anything. So a white lie is something nice when you don't mean it.

I tend to be brutally honest, but yes of course there are times when It is necessary, white lies especially.
One big lie always will turn into a series of lies, and will be found out eventually

Yes.
Like when you are out buying Christmas presents, but you don't want the person to know you are out buying presents.
But they call and say something like "where are you, when are you coming home?"
So you say "I'm at Peets having a cup of coffee and reading the paper, I'll be home in a while."

yes..it is called the white lies,,that you need to keep something in your mind so it will not affect too much poeple..mentally reserved you are trying not to make things work very hard for you and for someone else..sometimes this lies keeps you to live your life fully..but not all.. you must know first the cosequences doing a lie..

well, everybody has there own reason when to lie or not!! some r when u r nervous or something but it is not that good to lie.. if you tell the truth it saves u more trouble...belive me
