i mean u have ppl who u consider friends and others that u know but there not that close to u so u consider them an aquientince but they consider u as a friend cause u are a very friendlly person !!

An acquaintance is some-one that if i see them we might,have a drink,you know,something casual.A friend is some-one who i would feel comfortable leaving to look after my family,trust with my deepest secretes or put my life in their hands and not worry.In truth,a true friend can be likened to nothing less than a life saver.

Being a friendly person does not make one a friend...congenial folks tend to make others comfortable,not neccesitating that he wants to be a 'friend'.Putting ppl into compartments of 'pals','bestpals',acquaintences is a personal decision.What the other person regards u as,is his decision...u needn't change ur opinion unless u feel the need to.Its best to maintain a 'genial' stance and come to ur pvt decisions!

An acquaintence is one you hang out with, drink with etc... A friend you can do those things with but are also able to trust them with your deepest darkest secrets...
