Global heat spreads diseases, floods and droughts. Mosquitoes, ticks, mice and other carriers are surviving warmer winters and expanding their range, bringing health threats with them? Air Pollution and Global Warming are a two part legacy we are leaving to our children and their families.

THE FACT IS...Things they projected to occur in 2080 are happening in 2006. What they didn't get is how fast and how big it is, and the degree to which the biological systems would respond.

We should all care about global warming because it affects all of us here on Earth not just a chosen few. Have you seen the movie "Waterworld" with Kevin Costner? That could be one of the effects of global warming if we don't take care of our environment. Taking care of our Earth is a group effort.

Please don't reference Waterworld in connection with Global Warming.. The reality of the water levels climbing a dozen or more feet is scarey enough without bringing Kevin Costner into the scenario.
I should care about Global Warming because the only estimates of the damage that could be done are the conservative ones. There is no predicting how quickly things could deteriorate

Yeah,
I'm kinda paid to care...I think we as a race have to start caring for the people up the street that we don't know and future generations when thinking about global warming and not just the health of the planet, and recycling because its 'the right thing to do'

First off, Global warming is a theory. It is not a fact. The Earth itself pumps out millions of tons CO2. Furthermore, there is no conclusive proof that man is contributing to any type of temperature increase. What is a fact is that the Earth goes through natural warm and cold phases. I.E. Ice Ages.
